Casey + Danny | Boba Guys, San Francisco.
The story of Danny and Casey defines the characteristics of a Hollywood love movie : romantic, passionate and memorable. It’s even more special that Danny and Casey have connected their love to us through milk tea and boba. On one of the most famous street in the dreamy San Francisco, the lovers’ lane at the presidio, Danny and Casey have drawn out an extraordinary fairy tale with their love.
Danny showed up in a dark and modern navy suit while Casey had herself in an elegant white floral dress. Under the earthy look of the lovers’ lane , the way they looked at each other reflected the extreme joys and happiness
Andrew + Lisa’s Wedding | Sterling Hotel, Sacramento.
Lisa and Andrew booked us over the bridal show 2016 after considering many talented photographers. Eventually the couple has placed their trust on us and we cannot say anything but it was our happiness to be their wedding photographers. What special things about Andrew and Lisa that stand out of many weddings I have done in the past are their big warm welcome and the great hospitality from both parties.
We came to the Sterling hotel where the bride and the groom settled and prepare for their wedding. Next, we have captured the bridal party picture under the witness of the beloved and honored capitol building of Sacramento.
The ceremony was filled with love and strong emotion. Everything was going smoothly and the decoration was perfect with red roses on the aisle next to the white seats. After the declaration being wife and husband, their entrance was covered with dreamy bubble and emotional laughs from witnesses. The reception is nothing but the simplicity from the bride and grooms. We have shared so many memorable impression with Lisa and Andrew in the night. It was the most excited atmosphere I have ever seen. Everything was so fresh and we can even smell the bright smile of excitement spreading over the room. Finally, the wedding is also covered with lots of wonderful and lasting memories from the wonderful and fresh bride and groom Lisa and Andrew. Finally I would like to send my gratitude to the couple for everything and the kindness that they have sent for us. From now on I wish you two the happy marriage: Your happiness is our passion.

Mari + Eric | University of California, Davis Arboretum.
UC Davis Arboretum is one of those rare locations that has it all – grassy fields, oak, pine and sycamore groves, a mossy pond, monarch butterflies and redwood forest. I met up with Mari and Eric for their engagement – and since they booked my services without ever meeting me in person, it was great to get to know them both a little over the next two hours. I’ll be honest – it was overcast and in the high 50s. Not ideal conditions by any stretch of the imagination. But my shoots have always been couple-focused, and my goal is to make them look their best, no matter what. Plus, they drove all the way from Sacramento – we were gonna make it happen!
And so we did. Mari and Eric were really easy to work with, following my lead and building on their natural chemistry together. Even though we didn’t get a sunset or warm sand to sink our feet into, we got some great memories captured for posterity – and some great practice in front of the camera.
Tyellis and Nam Phuong | USNS Mercy, San Diego.
We had so much fun Tyellis and Namphuong’s photo shoot in San Diego. San Diego has some beautiful engagement photo spots. Tylellis and Nam Phuong chose Balboa Park so I took them to all of my favorite little nooks tucked away in the park, with over 1,200 acres to explore we were able to carve out our own areas to sneak off to and get some amazing photos. Thousand-year-old trees, and cactus gardens that make you feel like you are in Joshua tree. Balboa Park is for sure one of our top choices for San Diego engagement photos.
It was especially special to capture shots of the two in front of the USNS Mercy, the military hospital ship where Tyellis and Nam Phuong met 6 years ago in Viet Nam. They are such a fun couple to work with and I cannot wait to witness their union later this year!
Amanda + Saif | Fortpoint , San Francisco.
It was cold and windy and late December when I met up with Amanda and Saif for their engagement shoot at Fort Point in San Francisco. It’s a really old military building, right at the base of the Golden Gate – and adjacent to the turbulent waters of the bay. This was always interested location for me, and I was amazed at the view of the Golden Gate Bridge the location offered. Of course you pay for it one way or another, and suffering the weather was our payment for the opportunity to experience the man-made and natural beauty. These two lovebirds were total naturals – and it didn’t take much coaxing to get them to get all cuddly. After we shot for an hour or so, we drove to our next location, the Pier 14 where you can see the Transamerica building in the back and Bay Bridge another side. It was less windy there, but still pretty cold. Amanda and Saif did great though, they laughing so much with our joke and give us amazing natural expression from lovely couple , and I feel like we got just the right amount of photos. Speaking of which, check out my favorites from their e-session below!
Marc + Krystle || Vizcaya wedding.
I don’t think I’ve ever met someone so vibrant, joyous, and full of life as Krystle, it’s easy to see how Marc fell for her. Krystle and Marc are the most amazing mix of youthful love with a mature depth of character. Their wedding start with blessing from the church and end up at the beautiful historic mansion Vizcaya.
Krystle and Marc’s wedding was our first wedding this year at Vizcaya. And I’m hoping this trend keeps up! It is an absolute dream to photograph there, especially when you have a bride and groom so full of joy and so clearly head over heels for one another.
Carlos + Lorena || Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
Spectacular, classy and memorable !!! That is all I could say when talking about Carlos and Lorena’s wedding. The wedding was not only just vibrant but also timelessly charming filling with emotions and love. The ceremony was carried with traditions music which brought us a whole new experience. Every second past was the intimate moment that this two person sharing to each other.
It was a beautiful sunny day of fall to celebrate the beginning of Carlos and Lorena’s journey. The day began with the bride preparing for her big day at the Hyatt Hotel in Downtown Sacramento, while the groom was in a beautiful room in Sacramento Masonic Temple, where the reception was also held. Midday, the couple tied the knot at Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in front of their family and friends. After the ceremony, the newlyweds went to Sacramento History Museum in Old Sacramento and to the California State Capitol to have their wedding pictures taken
When the night came, at the luxurious majestic private venue called Masonic temple in beautiful Sacramento, the bride had impressed us so much joys with traditional dances in many platforms, both modern and traditional. It was interesting to me that Lorena is also an excellent dancer from a dancing company. In addition, the party was incredible with amusing music, dance performances and laughs from friends, colleagues and families. Finally, the wedding is nothing but the sweetness and romantic moment from Carlos and Lorena. Looking at this two beautiful person, love, family, and future are obvious vision that I see for the rest of their lifetime together. Passion studio also wanted to send sincere thanks to the couple with all the moment and the memorable journey. Your happiness is my passion. Gracias y casamiento feliz.
