ALEXA AND NICK WEDDING || SUISUN CITY
Love concurs all
Like many couples, Nick and Alexa started out 2020 full of hope and joy as they plan their dream wedding. Along came the pandemic altering every path of life. As each day the pandemic extends its spread, along with it goes the dream wedding. However, Alexa, Nick and their family did not allow the pandemic to defeat their spirits
Alexa and Nick originally planned to hold their wedding at the local venue called The Barn. Since they no longer do so, their families brought “The Barn” to them. Being avid woodworkers, Alexa’s grandpa and father partnered together to transform their backyard into a beautiful and intimate wedding venue. With just one month before the wedding, they gathered materials from local places some of which includes 100 years old wood beams.
Together the two constructed a small barn in their backyard made with only repurposed materials and weathered wood to keep the charming characteristics of a rustic barn.
Everyone in the family pitched in to help with every aspect of the wedding. It was a beautiful sight to see everyone from the different generations pulling together working in harmony towards a day of unity. Maybe it was the love that they had for Alexa and Nick that brought them all together. Perhaps it’s also the nostalgia of being in the house where they all grew up. Not one, two, but all 4 generations. Where every corner of the house is filled with memories and every part of the kitchen touched by laughter.
The house now contains yet another beautiful story, Alexa and Nicks wedding.
Amidst all the hectic of the preparation, Alexa and Nick did not forget to find time for each other. While everyone is still in preparation mode, they chose to exchange their vows in private. Even though Alexa and Nick were not able to have their wedding at their original venue, The owner was kind enough to allow them to have some private time and they were able to have some sunset photos.
2020 is an eventful year for the world and for Alexa and Nick as well. Nick finished his degree and graduated. Alexa and Nick are now married. They had purchased their own home. They have chosen forgo their honeymoon to invest in building their new house where they will build a family of their own and continue the family stories for many generations to come.

Jeffrey and Virginia Wedding | Cathedral of San Carlos Borromeo
Jeffrey and Virginia Wedding was my last Wedding of March 2020 before everything was locked down due to Covid outbreak. They got married at the beautiful Cathedral of San Carlos Borromeo (Monterey, California). The intimate Winter Wedding was attended by guests who travelled from from as far as Philippines and VietNam. The reception was held at the dining hall located behind the church, a quaint location perfect for a small Wedding. Their wedding was genuine and intimate, just as they wished for, with the ceremony and reception at the same venue surrounded by families and close friends. It was the most joyous celebration to start their marriage!

Sally and Kabir ‘s wedding ceremony
I met Sally and Kabir about a year ago at one of my past couple’s wedding. They were planning 2 weddings. One of them was supposed to be a cultural and traditional Indian wedding in Yuba city for 3 days, another one was supposed to be at Minnesota where Sally’s family resides. Everything was planned perfectly but COVID 19 has changed the wedding completely. Consequently, they hold a small wedding in the Sacramento courthouse and were live streaming to their friends and families through zoom. One thing special on their wedding day was Kabir’s coworker, who works with him in Diamond nut company, waited outside of the courthouse, surprised, and celebrated the couple’s wedding when they were walking out. After the ceremony, we wandered in the redwood area at UC Davis’s arboretum for their vow exchanges and newlyweds photos. With all of that, it is proved that the pandemic may affect their wedding, but their love remains eternally.

Marissa and Fernando wedding || Mount Diablo, California
08/08/2020 – this beautiful date was planned out for Marissa and Fernando to be married at one of the most fabulous resorts named Auberge du Soleil in Saint Helena, CA. However, due to COVID-19, Passion Studios had expected their wedding to postponed. Then, with a final push through, Marissa and Fernando decided to move forward with hosting their wedding as planned, but by scaling it down significantly to only close friends and family members. At noon on August 8th, we arrived at the new location where the wedding was held, and at which was also Marissa’s childhood place. It was a beautiful classical two-story home, where Marissa grew up until she left for college in New York.
The spacious and well-maintained backyard with blooming flowers was indeed the perfect place for their ceremony to occur. As we arrived, The Bride’s family members were getting ready and busy decorating their home for her big day. We started mingling with everyone and quickly got into documenting this intimate wedding.
The total number of guests was approximately 20 people, which set the ceremony theme to be small, intimate, but still very sophisticated. With the witness of close friends and family, our Mr. & Mrs. became official! The day went awesomely well for us and the beautiful couple, ending with a sunset photo shoot session on Mt. Diablo. They walked side by side and danced with each other, bathed in the golden sunlight.
These moments were truly priceless! It was our pleasure to be there and capture this very special day for Marissa and Fernando. At the end of the day, having a small or large celebration does not matter, because their love is true. We wish you forever happiness, Marissa and Fernando!
